About
We are a team of young people from Honiara. As often as we can we spend our weekends hiking into the jungle and building friendships with the people living in these remote places. We take with us food, medicine, and Bibles. We go to every home delivering our precious items, praying with the families, meeting their physical needs and listening to their cares. We clean, we carry firewood, we help those who are widowed and disabled. We are there to build bridges and demonstrate Jesus’ love. The Holy Spirit is at work before us and as a result people see that Jesus is truly a God who loves them. When the weekend is over it is hard to leave the new friends we have made, but it is a joyful hike home knowing that God has opened the way and our new friends are eagerly awaiting our return! Get Involved
Jesus gave us the great commission to take the gospel to all the world and so we are determined to continue this work in the Solomon's until Jesus comes! Rain, or shine we won't stop, but when it’s dark we can’t see, when it rains we get wet (and often sick) because we don’t have tents or waterproof hiking equipment. We currently don’t have enough backpacks to carry our gear or the Bibles we take either. We use candy bags and over rugged terrain that makes the journey very hard. We need many things to make our ministry sustainable and successful. Please help us help others by clicking donate
